Overview

Odíhg Íhtíhiēi̊ was founded durring the early 13th century in fall of the year 1210, by Goī̌ Hāb 'Martin Twinkle' Caw̄ Yāb Da̋ń̄ Abse. The establishment of Odíhg Íhtíhiēi̊ was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Odíhg Íhtíhiēi̊'s construction back out of the project. Goī̌ Hāb 'Martin Twinkle' Caw̄ Yāb Da̋ń̄ Abse pushed on reguardles, and Odíhg Íhtíhiēi̊ was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Odíhg Íhtíhiēi̊ was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Odíhg Íhtíhiēi̊ is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

Odíhg Íhtíhiēi̊ is buildings are arranged arround a network of narrow flagstone streets which form a diamond shaped grid, where each diamond verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller diamond has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town has a fortified albit thin brick wall. The wall has most of the feeatures of a typical castle wall, just on a much smaller scale and and budget. Notably brick isn't a particuarly soild choice for resisting siege weapons. Odíhg Íhtíhiēi̊'s wall wouldn't hinder a proper army, but it is more than sufishent for bandits and other small marauding groups. Unfortuantly, these monster and outlaw focused fortifications are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

A look around Odíhg Íhtíhiēi̊ has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scutteling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s everything together. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Odíhg Íhtíhiēi̊ long.

Civic Infrastructure

Odíhg Íhtíhiēi̊ has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Odíhg Íhtíhiēi̊. Odíhg Íhtíhiēi̊ has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. Cultural Notes

Odíhg Íhtíhiēi̊'s citizens locals enjoy many vices and lustful appetites. They may have religious sanction for their deeds, or neighbors might trade with them for such things, or they could be followers of some ideology that blesses such pursuits. Their economy or their social organization is usually heavily reliant on such traffic, and to ensure its continuance they may have made bargains with various mortal and immortal powers.

Odíhg Íhtíhiēi̊'s town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is admittedly strange and non-linear style rooted in defiance of symmetrical shapes. It championed the creation of buildings with a unique visual appearance. the structural norms of classic buildings and deforms or moves away from elementary architectural principles. By including non-linear designs processed into its buildings and favoring fragmentation, this style expressed a form of controlled chaos. Its buildings appear out-of-the-ordinary, draw the eye in immediately and sometimes create a feeling of strangeness. These distorted shapes and structure are not reserved to the building’s outer facade, they destabilize interior elements too, favoring minimalism and play on people’s perceptions by injecting a futuristic touch.

Due to the actions of local Kami, summer is skipped in Odíhg Íhtíhiēi̊.

The Chitikin near Odíhg Íhtíhiēi̊ are known to be more aggressive than normal.

Odíhg Íhtíhiēi̊'s citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in winter and involves destroying a prepared ritual vessel to channel Conjuration energies of tier 3 via throat chanting.
